Threefold Foundation
The Threefold Community is composed of a group of initiatives that focus on life’s needs from the education of children to the care of the elderly, from artistic and teacher training programs to biodynamic gardening and bee keeping. The community was founded on the spiritual perspectives of Rudolf Steiner (1861-1925). Steiner introduced a body of knowledge he called ‘anthroposophy’, meaning ‘wisdom of humanity,’ as a path of understanding the world and our place in it. Central to his insights is the need to develop individuality as the foundation for a healthy social life. The organizations listed below, united by Steiner’s views, develop independently as they strive to maintain a cooperative whole.
